Job Description

JOHN PARKINSON AGENCY is a London-based photographic agency representing some of the biggest names in entertainment photography and art direction.

We are offering an 8 week internship program part-time (2 days a week) where you will learn how an agency works and shadow an agent, learn about photoshoot production, and get a first-hand experience working in a talent agency. You will gain an understanding of how an agency works and why talent promotion is so important.

Every day will be different, but your main responsibilities will be:

- Running 2 social media accounts - Instagram and LinkedIn

- Updating our website with new client work

- Creating and sending out email marketing campaigns using MailChimp and tracking the analytics of these campaigns to determine how well they perform and how we can better improve them

- Finding contacts at agencies/ magazines/ brands that we can promote for our talent

- Researching upcoming films, TV shows, productions and product launches, and finding relevant contacts for the agents to contact

- You will get to observe the ins and outs of producing photoshoots (this may involve booking kit, assistants, sitting in on meetings, booking assistants, couriers, travel and creating estimates and invoices)

2 Days a week (of your choice)

Expenses & lunch paid @ 20 per day
