ROLE SUMMARY
As Creative Lead, you will collaborate with our New Business and Client Services teams to conceive and develop social-first, creative campaigns and concepts for On The Tools. Our client base covers a range of renowned brands within the world of trade and construction as well as relevant consumer brands.
This is a hands-on role that will also see you working with our design, social and production teams, who are all focused on creating the best social media content in construction.
Your primary responsibilities will be to drive a team of key contributors to develop social first campaign proposals including campaign strategy, ideation, design and copywriting, making sure that data and insight have been fully explored, and used to support proposals. You will form part of the pitch team and will be required to present your ideas to our clients and partners, both face-to-face and on video calls.
This role is based on-site at our offices at Fort Dunlop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand, interpret, and challenge client briefs with a strategic, data-driven approach.
Lead creative sessions, ensuring all contributors align to develop clear, results-focused campaign strategies and concepts.
Use insights and data to strengthen ideas, ensuring creative decisions are backed by evidence.
Ideate and craft compelling copy, from campaign headlines to long-form scripts and brand messaging.
Oversee creative development across various formats, video, animation, social, and written content, ensuring excellence from concept to execution.
Manage and coordinate campaign creatives, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Charismatically present ideas in face-to-face client meetings, bringing concepts to life with confidence and storytelling.
Direct internal teams to produce visually engaging and strategically sound pitch decks.
Conduct creative workshops and collaborative sessions with clients as needed.
Ensure clarity of vision across all stakeholders, briefing producers, scriptwriters, editors, and account teams effectively.
Evaluate creative outputs before client submission, maintaining high standards in video, animation, and copy.
Seek client feedback and performance results to refine and improve future campaigns.
Balance creativity with commercial awareness, ensuring campaigns deliver tangible business results.
Stay immersed in social media trends, developments, and cultural shifts, proactively identifying opportunities to win in the space.
Contribute to case studies that showcase the impact of our work and reinforce our reputation.
Continuously refine creative processes to enhance efficiency, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams on treatments, briefs, and scripts, ensuring alignment and creative excellence.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
An excellent understanding of how social media publishers & media advertising agencies work
An excellent understanding of creative strategy
A good understanding of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Prior agency experience
Experience of creating and delivering pitches
Experience creating compelling on and offline copy
Experience of working on projects from brief through to completion
Experience of supporting a team and delegating tasks when required
Excellent conceptual thinking skills
Excellent copywriting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously
Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues and clients
A meticulous eye for detail to ensure brand and client projects are executed efficiently
Ability to pitch strategy and ideation to clients in face to face settings
An interest in the creative sector
An interest in social media and the digital landscape
Creative flair and originality

Must hold a full UK drivers license and have access to a car for travelling to and from client meetings
