We're on the hunt for an inspiring, ambitious, and hands-on Creative Lead to shape and scale the creative function at Vervaunt. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of design, digital storytelling, and performance marketing, ideal for someone who thrives on crafting standout creative and leading with purpose.

You'll lead our growing creative team, partner with the performance and leadership teams, and set the vision for innovative, social-first content that drives impact across our portfolio of high-growth eCommerce and lifestyle brands.

Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership

Lead and develop a talented creative team (currently two junior designers), with plans to expand the team over the next 6-12 months. Oversee department operations, including resource planning, workflow optimization, and creative delivery Own departmental performance contributing to the P&L, identifying growth opportunities, and playing a key role in new business pitches and proposals. Build strong internal and external relationships acting as a senior client partner and trusted creative advisor. Drive a high-performing, collaborative culture rooted in excellence, craft, and insight. Oversee new hires, identify gaps in the current team structure and anticipate which roles are necessary to effectively grow the team.

Creative Direction & Strategy

Define and uphold creative standards delivering best-in-class visual content, short-form video, and motion design that performs across paid social and digital platforms. Shape and lead campaign work from concept through to execution balancing brand storytelling with conversion-led design. Collaborate closely with the Paid Media and Strategy teams to align creative concepts with performance objectives. Create scalable creative systems, templates, and playbooks that drive consistency and efficiency across accounts. Bring creative innovation to the forefront from formats and tools to storytelling and execution, always pushing boundaries and testing.

Social-First Creative & Innovation

Champion social-first thinking with a deep understanding of platform trends, creator culture, and what's performing today. Actively research and experiment with emerging trends, formats, and creative techniques, ensuring our output remains cutting-edge and relevant. Lead ideation, storyboarding, and execution of assets tailored for platforms like TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and more. Collaborate with creators and influencers where relevant to produce authentic, high-performing content.

About You

You're a creative leader with 5+ years of experience, ideally within social, digital, or performance-led agencies A strong portfolio of high-impact creative with proven success in design, video editing, motion design, and social-first campaigns. You understand how to balance brand and performance, and have experience building work that resonates and converts. You're tapped into culture and ahead of trends, with a solid grasp of platform nuance and creative performance. You bring operational discipline managing projects with speed, accuracy, and structure. Strong people manager able to develop junior talent, give clear direction, and maintain a high standard of work. You're commercially aware, confident in client-facing settings, and excited to contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking agency offering.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience in building out creative operations and systems from scratch. Creator/influencer experience or ability to collaborate with external content partners. Strong understanding of the synergy between paid media strategy and creative execution. Passionate about eCommerce, lifestyle, and performance-led design
Strong understanding of branding and how to balance brand with performance led design.

Exceptional visual and written communication skills & knowledge of how to leverage storytelling effectively for brand marketing.
