Hours: Part-time / Flexible (Saturdays 3 Hours)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and proactive Content Creator to join our team at Stepping Stones Together, a specialist social club supporting children and young people with additional needs. You will be responsible for capturing engaging short-form video and photo content during our club sessions and events, and managing our social media accounts to grow awareness, engagement, and support for our work.

Working closely with the Marketing Director, you will help shape the club's digital presence through storytelling, visuals, and authentic representation of the amazing activities and impact of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend weekly club sessions and special events to capture video clips and photos (with consent).

Create engaging short-form content (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Stories) tailored to each platform.

Edit and publish content in a timely manner, maintaining a consistent voice and brand aesthetic.

Work closely with the Marketing Director to plan and schedule posts and campaigns.

Grow and maintain the organisation's presence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

Monitor engagement (likes, shares, comments) and suggest creative strategies to boost reach.

Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity and privacy of our members and families.

Help promote fundraising events, campaigns, and success stories through visual content.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

Passion for inclusive community work and disability awareness.

Proven experience in content creation and video editing (can include personal or freelance projects).

Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Creative eye for capturing authentic and engaging moments.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism when working with children and vulnerable individuals.

Desirable:

Experience working with children or individuals with SEND/autism.

Photography or videography qualification (formal or self-taught).

Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content design.
