At Fleurtations, Christmas is our busiest and most magical time of year. We design and create bespoke festive decorations that are installed across Scotland in venues from hotels to restaurants and offices. To help us deliver excellence, we are looking for an organised and motivated
Creative Team Supervisor
to support the Creative Team Manager in leading our workshop team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, creative environment, has excellent people skills, and can keep a team focused on meeting deadlines without losing the festive spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Creative Team Manager in the
day-to-day running of the Christmas workshop
.
Take ownership of delegated
Christmas tasks and projects
.
Organise and oversee the team
in producing decorations to the required standard.
Delegate tasks effectively
, ensuring the right people are working on the right jobs.
Monitor
timelines and deadlines
to make sure jobs are completed on schedule.
Provide
constructive feedback and guidance
to team members.
Encourage and contribute
creative ideas
for designs and improvements.
Problem-solve on the spot
, thinking quickly and finding solutions when challenges arise.
Ensure completed decorations are
ready for the installation team
in line with jobsheets.
Uphold
quality standards
so every piece meets client expectations.
Support
health & safety standards
in the workshop.
Additional Responsibilities
Gold Event Support & Organisation
- assist with planning and preparing materials for client events.
Install Job Preparation
- organise plants and materials ready for install teams.
Hanging Basket Preparation
- support seasonal basket production.
Nursery Work
- organise plant care, displays, and seasonal horticultural tasks.
Holiday Cover for Lisa (Delegate)
- step in to provide cover for Lisa's responsibilities when required.
Skills & Qualities We're Looking For
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Confident in leading people and delegating tasks.
Creative mindset with a flair for design and festive displays.
Proactive, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both with the team and management.
A team player who can also take ownership and responsibility.
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience (desirable).
Experience in a creative, workshop, retail, horticultural, or event environment (advantageous but not essential).
