The Opportunity




Are you a compassionate therapist looking to create meaningful change in the lives of children and young people?



We are partnering with a respected care provider to recruit a therapist to join their regional clinical team, delivering therapeutic support within residential settings.



In this vital role, you will deliver both direct and indirect interventions and work alongside care teams to embed trauma-informed, child-centred practices. You will collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure each young person's emotional and psychological needs are met.

About You




Essential:



Relevant accredited qualification in a therapeutic approach (e.g. Masters in Art Therapy) Professional registration with appropriate body (HCPC, UKCP, BACP, etc.)

Desirable:



Previous experience working with care-experienced children, including multi-agency collaboration

Key Responsibilities


Deliver therapeutic interventions for children and young people Provide specialist consultation and guidance to regional care teams Support assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based therapeutic plans Offer therapeutic insight on referred cases to assist operational teams Collaborate with psychologists and therapists across the region Facilitate upskilling sessions on therapeutic approaches and related subjects Provide consultation on child trauma, attachment, and recovery across services Contribute a therapeutic perspective to service planning and development Support policy and service improvement through project work and implementation of identified therapeutic needs Maintain effective communication with external agencies (e.g. Local Authorities, NHS, partner organisations) * Maintain professional standards through supervision, CPD, ethical practice, safeguarding, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to EDI principles
