Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected organisation, for a Credit Control Manager to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a site-based position offering the opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated team while playing a key role in the company's financial strategy.

The Role

As Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit control function and managing a team. You will lead on risk analysis and credit assessments, ensuring that robust controls are in place to protect the business and maintain healthy cash flow. Your work will directly support wider financial goals and help drive performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the credit control team, providing day-to-day guidance and longer-term development Carry out credit risk analysis and make informed decisions on credit limits and terms Monitor and reduce aged debt while maintaining strong customer relationships Review and improve credit policies, systems and procedures Liaise with other departments to resolve queries efficiently and professionally Prepare and present regular reports on debtors, risk exposure and cash collection to senior leadership Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

About You

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual who can take ownership of the credit control function. You will be CICM qualified, with a strong understanding of credit management and risk analysis, and experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

You Will Need:

Full CICM qualification (essential) A solid background in credit control or credit management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail with a methodical and hands-on approach
Salary dependent on experience.
