Page Personnel are working in partnership with a successful, thriving manufacturing and production business to recruit a Credit Control supervisor working from their vibrant head office in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skillset and be the continuity between the wider team and management. You will be responsible for a debtors ledger of almost \xc2\xa310m and 2 sales ledger staff.

As the Credit Control Supervisor, reporting to the Financial Controller you will:

  • Allocate cash received against invoices
  • Chase payment of overdue invoices from customers
  • Process customer card payments over the phone
  • Identify and escalate slow/ late payments and work with Financial Controller and commercial team to ensure payment.
  • Opening new accounts
  • Complete credit checks on new customers recommending credit limits and payment terms.
  • Produce weekly reports for credit control meeting with commercial team and CFO.
  • Ensure daily invoicing completed promptly and accurately
  • Ensure price changes implemented by the business correctly.
  • Manage the sales ledger team on performance and job allocation
  • Any other requests deemed reasonable by the Financial Controller

The successful Credit Control Supervisor will:
  • Have experience dealing with overdue client/customer account management
  • Confident conducting difficult conversations
  • Outstanding telephone manner & communication skills
  • Maintaining an excellent level of customer serivce while being direct and honest
  • Manage a high volume of work in a target driven environment
  • Have a high level of customer service and process improvement experience
  • Flexible approach to task as well as prioritising workloads
  • Experience using Sage/accountancy software
  • Comfortable extracting data from Excel
