An excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our team has arisen. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in the Finance team and will work closely with the Finance Director.

The role will be full time, working 9am - 5pm (37.5hrs) across Monday to Friday, at our Collabear office near Barnstaple.

Reporting into the Finance Director, your duties will be as follows:

Chasing debts using telephone, e-mail and letter, alongside another credit controller Setting up new customer accounts Liaising with internal teams to resolve customer queries and outstanding accounts Responding to all queries identified during the collection process, and chasing for prompt resolution of the queries Being responsible for sending routine customer correspondence, including monthly statements, chasing letters, final demands etc. Posting customer payments onto our accounting software Reviewing and improving existing processes Project work relating to credit control and customer accounts

In order to be successful, you should have:

Previous experience of working in a similar position or experience of working in a finance/administrative team Proficiency in accounting software and data entry systems Ability to work independently with good time management whilst maintaining organised records and documentation Ability to work cooperatively and contribute to the team The ability to be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers alike Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills Good IT skills with excellent attention to detail A willingness to learn new skills Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial services industry practices is advantageous

Pay: Up to 27,000.00 per year
