Job Description

The role of Credit Controller involves managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong client relationships. Based on the south coast, this temporary position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.

  • Monitor and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable and credit control activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive client relationships.

A successful Credit Controller should have:
  • Experience in credit control or a similar role within accounting & finance.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
