An exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller is now available at the Whitburn Office, West Lothian.
Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing the company's credit control and collections processes and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
Minimizing outstanding debt, and maintaining healthy cash flow in line with company policies and financial goals.
Collections: proactively contact customers to chase overdue payments via telephone, email, and letters.
Liaison: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. sales) and external entities as needed.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in credit control and debt collection
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong Organisational and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and account reconciliation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional and approachable demeanour when dealing with customers
Knowledge and experience of Credit Hound and Sage 50 is desirable however not essential.
Remuneration
Salary Up to 27,000 dependant on experience
Monday to Friday, typically 9.00am to 5.00pm
