Job Description

A well-established business based on the outskirts of Bedford is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing customer accounts, building strong relationships, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.

The Role:

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts Chasing overdue payments via phone and email Issuing statements and reconciling accounts Allocating cash receipts accurately Investigating and resolving queries in collaboration with colleagues Assisting with credit checks and setting limits Supporting with legal/collection processes when required

The Successful Candidate:

Previous credit control experience is essential Strong communication and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and good organisational ability IT literate with good Excel knowledge (experience with accounting software beneficial) Able to work independently as well as part of a team
