About the Role
We're looking for a
Credit Controller
to join our friendly Finance team at our Bradford head office. You'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining strong working relationships with our retail partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts across retail and wholesale.
Chasing overdue payments and resolving queries promptly and professionally.
Reconciling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborating with Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to resolve disputes.
Producing aged debt reports and supporting the month-end close process.
Continuously improving credit control procedures and reporting.
About You
You're a confident communicator with great attention to detail and a proactive approach. You'll have experience working in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment and enjoy taking ownership of your work.
What we're looking for:
At least 2 years' experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
Experience within
FMCG, retail, or consumer goods
preferred.
Strong Excel and ERP system skills (experience with Sage or similar desirable).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
High accuracy and strong organisational abilities.
