to join our finance team and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As our

Credit Controller

, you'll be a key player in managing our Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining a healthy cash flow. This is more than just a numbers role - you'll be building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to the financial health of an innovative company.

What You'll Do

Take charge of the credit control process

: issue invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain accurate records of customer accounts.

Build strong client relationships

: resolve payment discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and promote timely compliance.

Collaborate and innovate

: work closely with our Accounts team to ensure seamless billing and payment processing.

Leverage technology

: use accounting software to track payments, generate reports, and keep financial records up-to-date.

Report regularly

: prepare detailed reports on outstanding debts and present actionable insights to management.

What You'll Bring

Experience

: Proven track record in Credit Control or a finance-related role.

Attention to detail

: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and record management.

Communication skills

: Strong phone etiquette and written communication to interact effectively with clients.

Technical know-how

: Proficiency in Accounting software (experience with SAGE is a plus).

Analytical mindset

: Ability to assess financial information and make informed decisions.

Proactivity

: A problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of finance

: Familiarity with financial services or credit management is a bonus.
