Main Purpose of Post:

The Credit controller is responsible for managing the debts of the business. The Credit controller will oversee all debts owed to the company from existing creditors and will manage new requests for credit.

Duties are varied and will include managing the debts of creditors, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries, and managing debt recovery.

Main Responsibilities:

Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.

Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with banks

Setting up of terms and conditions of credit

Ensuring timely payment of debts

Following up payments as needed

Negotiating re-payment plans

Responding to relevant client enquiries

Processing and reconciliation of invoices

Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems

Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required

Providing administrative support to the wider team

Managing sales ledger

Ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues

Administrative tasks necessary to execute the tasks successfully.

Accurate, efficient, and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed

Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts

Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and accountancy software

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 14.19 per hour
