What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be a key part of our finance operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Posting and allocating client receipts daily Managing the company's credit control inbox Sending copy invoices and statements to clients Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy Proactively chasing overdue debt Maintaining accurate client account diaries and chasing records Identifying bad debts and overpayments, escalating as needed Liaising with the billings team to resolve invoice discrepancies Credit checking and setting up new customer accounts Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and internal teams Attending weekly debtors meetings to update on risks and aged debt items Supporting the annual audit process with external auditors

What We're Looking For

Essential:

At least 2 years' experience in credit control Strong administration and organisational skills Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and numeracy skills High attention to detail Team player with a proactive approach

Desirable:

Experience with Xero software (training provided if needed)
