Job Description

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join Paragon on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in Dunkfield, Manchester.

As the Credit Controller, you will support a small, collaborative team following a recent acquisition and the implementation of new processes and technology. You will manage accounts receivable, support financial operations, and ensure accurate and timely collections.

What you'll be doing:

Proactively chasing payment of AR balances for an allocated customer portfolio. Logging chasing comments and communications in the accounting system. Managing disputes by raising queries with sales or client services and monitoring closure. Liaising with Operations and Sales Managers on Credit & Collections matters. Blocking accounts and escalating issues according to process. Issuing copy invoices and ensuring appropriate invoice backup where required. Performing account reconciliations and processing journals and allocations as needed. Maintaining the customer database and generating management information reports. Attending internal and external meetings as required.

What we're looking for:

Previous credit control experience managing around 500 accounts. Advanced Excel and reconciliation skills. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is a 6 month contract role working on a hybrid model, based in Dunkfield, with 2 days per week on-site (Tuesday and Thursday).

Salary is 28,000 - 30,000 pro rota
