Location : Southport \xe2\x80\x93 Hybrid Working

Full Time \xe2\x80\x93 37.5 Hours

Salary: \xc2\xa324,000 plus annual bonus

We are working with a world leading wholesales who specialise in the distributions of food produce to appoint a permanent full time Credit Controller to their dynamic and vibrant finance department.

This role will suit a candidate who is personable, well organized and a self-starter.

Personal Profile:

• Previous Experience in a office based role \xe2\x80\x93 preferably 2 years
• Previous Finance / Administrative experience
• Strong Excel & Other Microsoft Package Skills
• Self-Starter \xe2\x80\x93 Able to motivate and manage workload
• Excellent Communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 both written and verbal
• Able to adapt and critically think

Daily Duties:

• Manage a portfolio a portfolio of accounts ensuring payments are made
• Work through various means of communication to collect outstanding monies
• Working with internal and external customers and contacts to resolve queries
• Producing various reports to detail outstanding debts
• Taking card payments and setting up payment plans
• Negotiating payment plans to collect debts
• Follow company procedures for high-risk customers, change of ownership, closure of a business, Liquidation/ administration.
• Attending depot visits when required or virtual calls where necessary.
• Working with the sales team to build relationships.
