CREDIT CONTROL/ CASH MANAGEMENT/ PERMENANT/ SOUTH MANCHESTER/ MONTHLY BONUS/ HYBRID WORKING/ FREE ON-SITE PARKING

I am currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller who is looking to develop their career by joining my client who is a global service provider. This role was created to aid the key accounts team with enhancing cash collection on their high value ledgers.

  • Responsible for managing a high-value business ledger.
  • Taking proactive measures to follow up on outstanding balances through email and telephone communication.
  • Utilizing vendor portals for processing remittances, approved invoices, and addressing queries.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business customers.
  • Resolving any account-related inquiries or issues.
  • Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with branches nationwide.
  • Taking actions to reduce aged and current debt, providing regular updates to the line manager.
  • Working towards cash targets in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Assisting with cash allocation tasks when necessary.
  • Reconciling and resolving any unallocated cash transactions.
  • Managing accounts of blue-chip clients.
  • Sustaining and enhancing relationships with key customers.
  • Generating reports on cash figures.
  • Handling factored accounts effectively.
  • Providing support for credit insurance matters.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B Credit Control, handling high-value and high-volume ledgers.
  • Previous experience in managing key customer accounts is highly desirable.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and find solutions.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic and evolving role.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience within a larger, global business is essential.
  • Willingness to travel to South Manchester for two days per week.
  • Comfortable working both from the office and independently in a remote setting.
