Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our retention team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Duties

Monitor and manage accounts, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding debts Contact clients via phone and email to follow up on overdue payments, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment activities using internal systems. Analyse customer account data to identify trends or potential issues affecting customers ability to make payments Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently Assist with data entry related to invoices, payments, and account updates

Qualifications

Proven experience in credit control roles Strong analysis skills Proficiency in data entry systems and use of internal CRM Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently whilst maintaining organised records and documentation Experience with telemarketing or telesales is advantageous but not essential
