We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at our Head Office in Horwich, Bolton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in credit control preferably in a retail and manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and a tenacious attitude.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Sales Ledger to ensure that all balances are correct and controlled.
Contact customers to agree balances before they become due.
Debt collection.
Respond to queries on invoices/customer's accounts on a timely basis.
Allocate payments against each credit or cash account accurately and as received.
Liaise with retail Branches regarding cash account issues.
Open new accounts as required ensuring all necessary credit checks and references are adhered to.
Carry out Month End procedures on time and ensure all statements produced and issued.
Skills required
Strong Credit Control experience.
IT Literacy.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Working hours are 8.30am-5.00pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30am-2.30pm Friday.
