Job Description

As a Credit Controller, you will manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments within the fast-paced FMCG industry. This permanent role in Camberley requires attention to detail and fluency in Italian to support the accounting and finance team effectively.

  • Foster positive customer relationships to encourage timely payments and efficiently resolve account queries.
  • Accurately post promotional invoices and apply rebates in line with accruals.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into pricing discrepancies and logistics-related claims.
  • Assist in drafting long-term commercial agreements while ensuring spend remains within approved limits.
  • Manage customer ledgers and support accurate month-end financial reporting.

A successful Credit Controller should have:
  • Proficient in both Romanian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid background in accounting or accounts receivable, ideally within a structured finance environment
  • Hands-on experience managing B2B claims in a service centre or back-office setting
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, paired with strong analytical thinking and numerical accuracy
  • Sharp attention to detail and a mindset geared toward continuous process improvement (Lean principles)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving workplace
  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative and demonstrates strong personal accountability
