We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's credit processes, ensuring timely collection of receivables, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Duties
Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure prompt collection of outstanding invoices
Perform account analysis and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy
Prepare and review financial reports related to credit management and aging analysis
Maintain detailed documentation of credit transactions and correspondence with clients
Conduct regular general ledger reconciliation to ensure consistency across financial statements
Contribute to internal audits by providing necessary documentation related to accounts receivable and payable
Qualifications
Knowledge of various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent financial management tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis and financial report writing
Experience with cash management, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Excellent understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding account status and payment issues
Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred;
