Job Summary
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our finance team and maintain responsibility for a number of entities within DHC Group. The ideal candidate will assist the finance team in managing and improving credit control activities, ensuring that payments are collected promptly and allocated correctly.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage outstanding debts from clients within the Diagnostic, dental imaging and cardiology businesses.
Raising and importing of sales invoices in respect of the dental imaging entity.
Maintaining the inboxes for each entity.
Proactively contact customers (via phone, email, and letter) to follow up on overdue invoices and obtain upfront purchase orders.
Allocation of bank receipts to outstanding sales invoices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications with customers regarding payments.
Report aged debt by entity on a weekly basis to stakeholders of each entity, including CFO and GFC.
Resolve customer queries relating to billing discrepancies and work closely with the finance team and/or the clinical teams to ensure swift resolution.
Assist in the improvement of process notes.
Assist with any ad-hoc tasks that may arise related to the finance department.
Experience:
Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role is essential.
Experience within the healthcare is advantageous, but not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a customer-focused approach.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g. SUN Systems) is desirable, but not mandatory.
