Due to retirement we are looking for a new Credit Controller.

The Credit Controller job requires an organised and detail-oriented individual to manage outstanding debts and ensure timely payments based out of our head office at Newark.

This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a professional Accounting & Finance team as a Credit Controller.

Day to day duties will include:-

Manage and maintain the credit control process, ensuring timely payments. Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding debts effectively. Monitor and report on aged debtors, providing regular updates to management. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Prepare and issue accurate statements and invoices to clients. Collaborate with internal departments to address billing queries. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Support the Accounting & Finance team with other related tasks as needed.

Key Requirements:-

A successful Credit Controller should have...

Previous experience in credit control or a related Accounting & Finance role. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office applications. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. A proactive and problem-solving approach to challenges. Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is advantageous.
