About the Role
We are looking for a Credit Controller to oversee the credit control process by ensuring timely payments, minimising debts and maintaining positive relationships. Working closely with the client billing team, this role reports into the Finance Manager.
We have a 37.5 hour contract available with an excellent salary of 32,000 per annum. The role will be based at our Support Office in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Key Accountabilities:
Work closely with the client billing team to monitor and maintain debtor days
Perform regular reviews of the aged debtors
Follow up on overdue invoices and payments, maintaining accurate records of resident accounts and aged debtors commentaries
Liaise with residents family members, councils, home administrators and the finance team to resolve billing discrepancies, communicating any payment issues to management
Provide insightful information and expectations to management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
Following established procedures and policies and, with the guidance of the wider finance team, improving systems and controls
To utilise automated practices wherever possible to maximise efficiency and minimise administrative duplication.
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Any other duties that may be reasonably requested, commensurate with ability and experience

AAT is advantageous but not essential.
