As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to help us maintain healthy customer relationships and support our financial operations.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives on responsibility and enjoys building positive rapport with customers. You will play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with customers to collect outstanding payments and manage credit terms. Resolve queries and discrepancies promptly and professionally. Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate ledgers. Prepare and issue customer statements and aged debtor reports. Analyse and monitor bad debt risk, escalating concerns where necessary. Support the finance team with month-end and reporting processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is both professional and personable, and is confident managing customer conversations while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail.

Essential skills and experience:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role. Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional and approachable telephone manner. IT literate, with proficiency in Excel and Outlook; experience with Sage 200 is an advantage but not essential. Reliable transport due to our rural location.
