You will be joining at a very exciting time, after years of exponential growth. Since our launch in 2001 we have grown to over 200 employees in the UK and approx. 800 employees across the eCapital group with offices in US, Canada as well as the UK.

The role



Posting of cash against a portfolio by the required deadlines. Ensure a basic understanding of the business when chasing debts. Manage a portfolio of full-service clients. Chase outstanding debts by telephone, email, and letter in line with the client credit control schedule. Performing full chase on each client each month. Capturing all calls using recording methods and carry out call backs as needed. Verifying debts on the system when chasing. Agreeing repayment plans where appropriate. Recommending accounts for solicitors where appropriate. Dealing with customer collections within the system. Setting up and maintaining client files for credit control purposes. Communicate regularly with clients and provide written updates if issues arise. Attend credit control meetings when requested & contribute to new initiatives to improve the operational efficiency of the business. Ensure client queries are communicated and dealt with effectively to all parties. To perform monthly Sales Ledger Reviews and ensure these are completed within agreed timescales with the Client Manager. Setting up and maintaining client files for credit control purposes. To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:



Previous experience of dealing with customers or the public, either face to face or over the phone/email Although not essential, English and Maths at grade A-C/9-4 would be preferred Although not essential previous experience in Credit Control would be useful Please note our hybrid policy is on site 4 days a week (after initial training) and we are a 5 minute walk from Reading Train Station, overlooking the River Thames.
