We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Credit Controller to join our team. Based at our head office in Sale, you will play an important role communicating and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, while ensuring collections are up to date.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for individuals with experience in a similar role, preferably within the private rental or hospitality sector. Working with your team, you'll be fundamental in ensuring all Credit Control tasks are completed promptly and efficiently. Customer service lies at the core of our operations, requiring a willingness to exceed expectations. We are looking for someone who cares about the people around them and is willing to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities:
As a Credit Controller, you will work closely with other team members to manage all credit control and related tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
Allocating payments accurately and efficiently
Chasing outstanding debts in a professional manner
Resolving queries while maintaining strong client relationships
Managing and maintaining payment plans
Performing general administrative duties
Issuing tenant notices in compliance with regulations
Handling rent insurance claims and liaising with relevant stakeholders
Communicating with solicitors and occasionally attending court hearings
Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a similar credit control or finance role (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to customer service
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
