Job Description

We are recruiting for a credit controller to join our friendly team based near Chelmsford. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build on their credit control skills in a busy hands-on environment.

As one of our credit controllers you will be reporting directly to the Accounts Team Manager and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

. Work with credit control colleagues to collect payment of outstanding balances according to their credit terms.

. Make Phone calls/send emails to obtain outstanding balances.

. Send out monthly invoice/statements.

. Payment Processing.

. Company credit rating monitoring.

. General accounts & administration duties using Sage 200, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

A minimum of 1 years' experience in credit control is required and ideally with credit accounts, but just as important is someone proactive/hardworking and who can become a valuable member of our friendly team. We would ideally like someone who has experience working in a similar industry or construction industry and is confident speaking to similar customers. We are located out of town, so your own transport is essential.
