About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional
Credit Control Assistant
to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone organised, confident with technology, and comfortable communicating with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
You will be responsible for chasing debtors, updating records, and supporting the smooth running of the credit control function. Full training can be provided, although previous experience in credit control or administration is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debtor communications.
Update and manage spreadsheets and internal databases.
Prepare and send statements, reminders, and payment requests.
Escalate issues where appropriate.
Support general administrative tasks within the finance/office team.
Requirements
Professional, punctual, and well-organised.
Confident communicator with a polite but firm approach.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Comfortable working independently and managing own workload.
Experience in credit control or admin is desirable, but training will be provided.
