An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Credit Controller to join our team in Warrington to focus on pro-active Credit Control. This role is crucial in managing our accounts receivable and ensuring timely payments, contributing significantly to our financial health and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate would have some customer facing experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong administration and I.T. skills.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Group Credit Manager, you will join an existing and experienced team where you will have your own assigned ledger.

MAIN DUTIES:

Daily cash posting and allocation of client receipts Manage the Companies Credit Control inbox General administration tasks including sending out copy invoices/statements Reconciliation of accounts Proactively chasing overdue debt Accurate diary maintenance of client accounts and chasing records Identification of bad debts and over payments and escalation Liaising with the Billings team to resolve any invoice discrepancies Credit checking and setting up new Customer accounts Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key clients and internal stakeholder Attend regular weekly debtors meetings to update on collection risks and aged debt items. Liaise with external auditors to deliver annual audit requirements

ABOUT YOU:

At least two years Credit Control experience is required Able to work in a fast paced environment Strong administration skills. Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Excel Sage and salesforce experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given Excellent communication skills Excellent numeracy skills Organisational and time management skills High attention to detail Team player
