We are going through an exciting period of growth and have recently launched some new products, so our team now needs to expand and recruit a
Credit Controller
.
This role is offered on a full-time basis.
The Role
Reporting to the Credit Control Supervisor you are responsible for a defined set of accounts with the responsibility of minimising overdue debt, maximising cashflow, preventing bad debts whilst also building excellent internal and external relationships.
Daily chasing of all accounts by phone & email to minimise debt falling overdue
Document telephone conversations with customers to enable pro-active follow up
20 phone calls a day (pro rata) with accompanying email follow up
Ensure invoices disputes received are escalated to account managers and followed up in a timely manner to prevent debt ageing
Bring to the attention of the Credit Control Supervisor any accounts refusing to pay or facing financial difficulty.
Attending appropriate Departmental Meetings.
Analysing ageing profiles to assist with prioritisation.
Experience in Salesforce and Sage 50 is desirable.

Previous credit control experience working in a fast past environment
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent attention to detail.
Analytical skills
Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision.
Highly competent in use of Microsoft Office (namely Word and Excel).
