Job Description

Romantica of Devon is a nationally and internationally recognised, family-owned and run, bridal/occasionwear apparel company with over 40 years of experience in the industry.

We are looking for a Credit Controller to work as part of our professional, yet relaxed office team based out of our head office just outside of Tiverton in Devon.
As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's credit and collections process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely payment from customers while maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Key Duties



Chasing outstanding debts by telephone, email and on occasion letters

Managing and resolving queries with customers relating to their account

Working closely with the sales and customer service teams to maintain an efficient credit control strategy

Negotiating and maintaining payment plans

Taking card payments via telephone

Entry of customer receipts (daily banking)

Customer Allocations and reconciliations

Raising credit notes

Maintenance of correct customer data within the SAGE system and on the Credit Hound system.

Providing outstanding customer service

Required Skills



Proven credit control experience

Reconciliation experience

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Strong organisational and time management skills

Experience of using SAGE200 would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.

You'll be great in this role if you have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks. You will be a great team player who works well with others but who can also work under your own initiative.

Hours and Place of Work



This role is being offered as a 37.5 hours per week, full-time office-based position. Employees work 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 1pm Friday

Salary



Benefits include 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays and an additional day's leave for your birthday each year.

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
