up to 35,000 per annum

Hours:

Full-time, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday, no weekends)

Location:

Office-based (free parking on site)

We have a professional but friendly team and are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our accounts department in Worcester.

The Role:

We're seeking an experienced, motivated, and organised Credit Controller to manage a significant portion of our sales ledger (approximately 75-80%). You'll work closely with our Key Account Manager, who looks after our major accounts, as well as with the wider accounts team of six. This is a stand-alone position within the team, reporting directly to the Finance & Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. Monitor credit limits and proactively manage aged debt. Resolve queries promptly and maintain strong customer relationships. Accurately post and allocate receipts in

Sage 200

. Produce aged debt reports and assist with month-end processes. Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoicing and payment issues. Identify and escalate potential credit risks when necessary.

About You:

Proven experience in a Credit Control role is

essential

. Proficiency with

Sage 200

is

preferable

. Knowledge of

Credit Hound

is

desirable

. Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
