Due to a significant phase of growth, we are seeking a Credit Manager to strengthen our finance team and lead the credit control function. This is a management role reporting directly to the Finance Manager, with responsibility for overseeing the Credit Controller and ensuring robust credit practices across the business.

What does the role look like?



As Credit Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the business against credit risk while driving healthy cash flow. This is a hands-on management position where you'll shape credit control processes, mentor team members, and work closely with commercial teams to maintain strong customer relationships. The role also offers the opportunity for international travel as you engage with global customers and partners.

You'll lead the credit control function, oversee debtor performance, and ensure compliance with insurer requirements. From managing credit limits and resolving payment disputes to implementing process improvements and presenting cash flow insights, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations - helping the business grow while keeping risk under control.

What You'll Bring:



Experience in credit management or senior credit control, ideally in a middle-management role with team leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of credit risk, financial reporting, and compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and analytical thinking. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with accounting software. Ability to travel internationally to strengthen customer relationships. Knowledge of aviation or logistics sectors is a plus (but not essential).
