CRESS Response Officer.
OurCarer's Response Emergency Support Service (CRESS) is set up to provide an emergency support plan, giving carers peace of mind that the person they care for is well looked after in their absence.

Main
aims of the post
To provide a respite service to carers during emergency situations and planned events.
To provide support and assistance to people with care needs. This will involve the provision of personal and social care.
In addition, post holders will carry out assessments and be responsible for the on call service.
Duties to include
To respond quickly in emergency or unplanned situations to deliver care.
To undertake the tasks specified in the support plan, which may include personal and social care tasks.
To undertake other specialised care tasks as agreed in the support plan and after appropriate training.
To maintain accurate records as directed by the manager and carry out any administrative tasks as required, i.e. scanning information to the office.
To carry out assessments for new services.
To be on a retainer night (additional pay).
To treat all carers and people with care needs with respect and sensitivity, recognising the need for confidentiality at all times.
To participate in supervision, appraisal and training sessions to ensure that standards are constantly maintained.
To work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and providing a flexible service.
To respect the personal choice of lifestyles of colleagues, carers and people with care needs, ensuring that equal opportunities principles are applied at all times.
Requirements
UK Driving Licence and access to a car (as the role will require travel across Coventry and Warwickshire).
Right to work in the UK, as we do
NOT
hold a sponsorship licence.
Experience of providing care.
Able to work 12 hour shifts (10am - 10pm) on a rota of 4 days in week 1 (Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun) and 3 days in week 2 (Weds, Thurs, Fri).
