Colour Sound Experiment is an entertainment lighting and video hire specialist to the Live Events Sector, with over 35 years' experience behind it. We have had the opportunity to work with some incredible clients and take pride in our ever expanding equipment catalogue (and the ever growing warehouses we need to store it all).
Due to a growing team we have a a vacancy for a new Crew Booking Assistant to come join us at Colour Sound HQ in North West London. We're looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual who is able to manage their workload effectively with excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to crew booking team
Manage accreditation, crew lists, touring forms and freelancer documentation including insurances, licences, passports, A1s and visas
Assisting with crew booking under the guidance of the crew coordinators
Monitor and respond to crew booking shared inbox
Prepare crew purchase orders using Xero
Booking crew and staff travel and accommodation ensuring it is cost effective, appropriate and sustainable
Keeping information and spreadsheets up to date
Data entry - input crew and job information
Updating freelancer database
Answer phones, sign for parcels, monitor and greet visitors
Any other administrative tasks as required
Skills:
Previous experience of the Lighting Hire Industry and/or crew booking desirable but not essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Google Suite
Excellent organisational skills
Data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Phone etiquette and comfortable making and fielding calls
Critical thinking skills and ability to evaluate most cost-effective options
Ability to monitor own workload and be proactive, ensuring deadlines are met
Comfortable dealing with sometimes grumpy crew members
Quick thinking and problem solving
