Generic Crew Manager process

This process is open to internal grey book Wholetime substantive Fire Fighters wishing to apply for the role of Crew Manager, applicants must be up to date with all aspects of their mandatory training. The process itself will populate a talent pool of personnel who have met the benchmark scoring and are therefore suitable for substantive or temporary promotion to the role of Crew Manager.

This is not a designate process and those who are placed within the pool are not guaranteed promotion, temporary or otherwise. The Talent Pool will assist CFRS with effective and efficient succession planning across our Crew Manger roles.

Note: This is a generic Crew Manager talent pool process with role specific processes to follow as vacancies arise.

Those in the talent pool will be identified as suitable candidates for substantive or temporary roles, according to organisational need as vacancies arise.

The Talent Pool will ordinally be employed for a period of 12 months and will then be reviewed at the discretion of CFRS. The period that a talent pool is employed for may be extended at the point of advertising a recruitment process, this would be to support future succession planning in line with forecasted establishment changes.

Those personnel successful at shortlisting will be invited to interview which will be accompanied by a presentation or relevant role related skills test. You will be notified of such via phone call and email if shortlisted

Interviews will commence \xe2\x80\x93 W/C 16th October 2023

Feedback sessions will delivered by 17th November 2023
