Brief Description

Salary \xc2\xa341,711 raising to \xc2\xa346,925 per annum.

As a Resourcing Business Partner you will own the end-to-end resourcing process for your dedicated client group. This means leading and supporting them with recruiting talent, talent and succession, strategic workforce planning, new entrant experience, early engagement and employer value proposition.

You will lead recruitment service delivery and client relationship management; working closely with colleagues in the wider HR team to deliver holistic, influential, and proactive talent solutions.

As a Human Resources Business Partner you will be working closely with your dedicated client area to implement and deliver the HR Strategy/People Plan. This will include talent, succession planning and change management, in order to support the delivery of business objectives and drive a high performance culture. You will also provide operational HR support on (for example) organisation change, senior appointments, salary and bonus, graduate or apprentice programmes.

These roles can be based anywhere within the North West & Central Region - Milton Keynes, Birmingham or Manchester. As part of your application, you will be asked to state your preference for role and location.

About the role (External)

Resourcing Business Partner Key accountabilities:

1. Promote Network Rail as an employer of choice, offering candidates a best-practice experience through the efficient management of attraction, selection and on-boarding.

2. Successfully deliver the client group a responsive, consultative and value-adding resourcing service, adhering to best-in-class relationship management principles, and challenging and gaining acceptance from key stakeholders if required.

3. Manage deployment of support services within Centres of Excellence, HRSS, sourcing, and resourcing support, defining specific deliverables and timescales wherever appropriate.

4. Collaborate with colleagues in HR and the client group to integrate a seamless resourcing service alongside broader talent strategy, with a particular emphasis on L&D, succession planning and reward.

5. Collaborate with colleagues in HR and the client group to determine medium to long-term talent requirements and skill shortages, developing appropriate strategic resourcing solutions in response.

6. Continuously seek to improve the service, including deeper client expertise, more efficient process management and greater attraction and assessment accuracy.

7. Liaise with Resourcing Business Partners in other areas of the business in order to work collaboratively on cross business/geographical issues.

Human Resources Business Partner key accountabilities:

1. Working closely with the supported business, to implement and deliver the HR Strategy/People Plan to include talent, succession planning and change management, in order to support the delivery of business objectives and drive a high performance culture.

2. Work closely and building strong relationships with members of the supported business senior leadership team and other relevant stakeholders. Coach advise and challenge, where appropriate, business leaders on short and medium term HR issues as required.

3. Provide operational HR support on (for example) organisation change, senior appointments, salary and bonus, graduate or apprentice programmes.

4. Successfully deliver client responsive, cost effective and integrated people solutions that address key business objectives, gaining acceptance from key stakeholders.

5. Reinforce the ownership of people management by the business and line managers and support the HR delivery model.

6. Work with the broader HR function, including Centres of expertise, HR Direct and HR shared services teams to provide the best solutions for the business.

7. Work with appropriate Union representatives to support the business in delivering business solutions.

8. Liaise with HR Business Partners in other areas of the business in order to work collaboratively on cross business/geographical issues.

Essential Criteria for a successful Resourcing/HR Business Partner:

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrates strong business/commercial approach and understanding of business needs.

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience of working in partnership and building strong working relationships with senior managers in order to improve resourcing delivery/or people management.

\xc2\xb7 Passionate about customer service with ability to articulate previous achievements through business deliverables.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice recruitment/and or HR solutions to drive a value added service.

\xc2\xb7 Experience of influencing senior managers.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation.

\xc2\xb7 Understands how to work with the business to identify, develop and implement appropriate resourcing solutions and retain talent

\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of operating in a complex working environment

\xc3\x98 For HRBP - Excellent technical HR knowledge (CIPD qualified or relevant experience); Involvement in organisation change programmes e.g. TUPE, Organisation re-design, redundancy programmes, etc
