This is a hands-on role where your coaching knowledge, communication skills and passion for helping young people will make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

These are delivered both individually and in group settings. Support newly qualified coaches in securing volunteer placements and paid opportunities within cricket and the wider sports sector, including creating and maintaining a bank of coaches for external organisations. Work in partnership with the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation coaching team to enhance the coaching offer across schools, clubs and community settings. Evaluate coach progress throughout the programme to inform delivery, support continuous development and help build a workforce with lived experience of barriers to cricket participation. Raise awareness of the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation as an effective regional sports charity by strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, sharing best practice and coordinating an end of programme conference to showcase learning and future plans.

Experience

Sports coaching experience in a community or recreational club setting. Experience of working with and communicating with 18 to 25 year olds who are preparing for employment. Experience of managing time effectively, including working evenings and weekends. Confident user of information technology systems, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
