We are currently looking for a Criminal Paralegal to join a small friendly team at TAHMINA & Co.
As a crime-specialist firm, we handle a wide range of cases across police stations, the Magistrates' Court, and the Crown Court. We are a forward-thinking practice that has embraced digital working.
Applicants must be IT proficient, and we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
Ideally, candidates will hold a degree.
Alternatively, applicants with a minimum of two years' experience working in a legal practice will also be considered.
LPC / SQE or paralegal qualifications (or equivalent) are desirable.
Good Communication skills, organisational and time keeping skills.
Showing attention to detail.
The ability to work on your own as well as a team.
Undertaking documentary analysis research
Assisting lawyers with the preparation of cases for hearings, including bundles and briefs for court.
Diarising and updating the work schedule daily
Attending upon new clients and taking basic instructions;
Assessment of legal aid eligibility
Ability to analyse and communicate complex information clearly;
