Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Duties



Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including Defence statements, briefs, and witness statements. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy. Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress. Manage schedules, including appointments and court dates, using Outlook for efficient time management. Collaborate with Lawyers to prepare for hearings, trials, and meetings. Utilise Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes. Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.

Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication. Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Basic IT skills to troubleshoot common software issues.
