We are now looking for an enthusiastic Email & CRM Marketing Manager to take ownership of supporter communications, driving engagement and loyalty through creative, data-led campaigns.

This role is perfect for a marketer with 2-3 years' experience in email or CRM who is ready to take the next step and lead on campaigns that reach tens of thousands of rugby fans. You'll manage our CRM platform and email marketing, using supporter data to deliver engaging and personalised communications that help grow attendance, memberships, retail, and hospitality.

Key Accountabilities

Plan, build, and deliver targeted email campaigns that support ticketing, retail, hospitality, memberships, and community activity. Manage day-to-day use of the club's CRM system, ensuring data is accurate, well-segmented, and compliant. Develop and execute fan lifecycle journeys (welcome campaigns, renewals, upsells) to improve supporter retention and satisfaction. Work closely with marketing, partnerships, venue, and ticketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Report on email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions) and suggest improvements to increase effectiveness. Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance across supporter communications. Explore opportunities for automation and personalisation to enhance fan experience.

We are looking for...

Essential

2-3 years' experience in email marketing or CRM role.

Experience with CRM or ESP platforms (DotDigital, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar).

Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to analyse campaign results and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Good project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns.

Understanding of GDPR and data privacy best practices.

Desirable

Experience working in sport, live entertainment, or consumer-focused brands.

Familiarity with ticketing systems, e-commerce, or loyalty programmes.

Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template editing.

A passion for rugby and live events.

Personal attributes

Creative and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in fan engagement.

Analytical and data-driven, but also able to think creatively.

Highly organised and proactive.

Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work with multiple teams.
