Job Title: Cross Domain Sales Lead

Location: Hybrid role, preferred site / base location Gloucester



What you'll be doing
Lead sales activity across DI relating to Cross Domain products, including capture planning activities, process and governance. Candidate is responsible for identifying, creating and developing new opportunities and maturing them Working closely with Business Unit account teams and Business Development team, the candidate will be responsible for creating the appropriate business winning environment for Cross Domain Solution (CDS) products and services to accelerate sales through market understanding, market planning and positioning, developing opportunities and pursuing captures/campaigns. The objective being to deliver in excess of 150m of Order Intake within the 5 year business planning period Working closely with the Cross Domain Product Manager and Technical Pre-Sales team to develop a strong understanding of the CDS Product set, its roadmap and complimentary professional services Typically, this role will work within government acquisition environments, either UK or Internationally. Understanding and influencing/shaping of the customer requirement, defining opportunity timeline and acting as customer advocate during solution development Developing a clear understanding of and communicating the customer procurement process and customer Critical Success Factors & "Hot Buttons" that underpin the win strategy

Your skills and experiences
Demonstrable experience and track record of selling complex Products and associated Solutions Significant Business Winning experience and a substantial understanding of business winning behaviours, processes, procedures and industry best practice. Considerable experience of engaging senior stakeholders, particularly customers, and the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships Experience with government and defence acquisition agencies, both UK and international would be beneficial Understanding of the Markets in which BAE Systems operates as well as its competitor landscape. Also requires a good understanding and knowledge of the internal Product area in which the role operates Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to communicate sometimes complicated or sensitive information effectively to multiple audiences, including internal / external peers and sometimes at higher levels. Must either alredy hold SC or be eligible to obtain




The Team

Based primarily in Gloucester, but with team members in Guildford, Leeds and Yeovil, the Cross Domain Product Team is comprised of around 70 Engineers and Project Managers producing truly world leading solutions that provide content and network threat defence between networks of different security classifications or trust levels. Our capability is developed in collaboration with NCSC, ACSC and NCDSMO and we have been doing this for over 20 years.

This enables our clients in Intelligence Agencies, Law Enforcement, Military and Critical National Infrastructure to move information between security domains without compromising the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the information and networks concerned.
