Cscs Card Course/labourer/ Introduction To Construction
Job Description
Doncaster Skills Academy are working in partnership with clients who are looking to attract Labourers for their sites in the Doncaster region.
This role is attached to one of our Skills Bootcamp courses.
On our course, you will be undertaken the Health & Safety in Construction Level 1 giving you the skills you need to be successful, but you will have the chance to earn your CSCS card for Free.
As part of the course, we will also work with you to upskill your CV, to showcase all of your transferable skills, and ensure you are job-ready.
When you have completed the course you will have the opportunity to progress onto our L2 Skills Bootcamp in (Bricklaying, Plastering, Carpentry)
For us to be able to fund your CSCS card test, you need to ensure you can attend our construction course for 10 days ( weekdays only) Courses are ongoing in Doncaster.
Eligibility:
Claiming benefits Must be available to undertake the training for 10 days Must have lived in the UK / EU for the last 3 year. Must NOT be on any other funded program. Must have the right to work in the UK
Job Requirements:
Assisting trades on site. Lifting and Shifting Materials around site. Ensuring the site is safe to work and clearing the walkway. General cleaning. Adhering to Health & Safety.
For us to be able to fund your CSCS card test you and for us to support you into suitable employment, you will need to complete all 10 days of the course!
Progression opportunities onto one of our Skills Bootcamp Courses Free CSCS card tests are provided. ( on successful completion of the 10 days) Good working environment. Refreshment's/ lunch provided everyday whilst on the course in the Academy Support from our Recruitment Manager Ongoing support once you are in employment for up to 6 months
