Overview

We are seeking 2 reliable and hardworking CSCS carded labourers for a long term project in Oldham OL8. You will be working with the Groundworks Sub Contractor . A bit Groundworks experience is preferred but not essential.

This is potentially a long term role for the right candidates.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and have a strong commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of their work. This role is essential in supporting various construction activities and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Assist with the general labouring tasks on construction sites, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Follow instructions from site supervisors and contribute to the overall team effort. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and ensuring that tools and equipment are stored properly. Support skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing assistance as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn correctly. Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

Valid CSCS card is essential for this role. Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is mandatory. Strong physical fitness, with the ability to perform manual handling tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
