Job Description

We are looking for a full time trainee fitters mate to join our growing company who are wishing to learn a new trade. We will train you to the standard we need and progression is available. We will help support you though your certs and the end goal would be to become a qualified Heating and Ventilation Engineer with a recognised NVQ. The time scale is dependant on the candidates ability and desire to learn.

Job includes manual handling, installation of ductwork/ventilation, must be ok with working at height. Successful applicant should be motivated and able to use own initiative where needed with excellent time keeping. Good positive attitude towards work and needs to fit in with our staffs good moral. Must have CSCS card to be able to get onsite, experience not necessary but preferred as training will be given but basic common sense is needed. Willing to work away/some weekends if needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various manual tasks on construction sites. Would suit a school leaver 18+ who is looking to start a career in construction.

On a temp to perm basis for the right person.

Negotiable rates of pay dependent upon applicants age/ability. Ideal candidate will be in the Burntwood/Cannock surrounding area

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials
- Perform general construction site clean-up
- Support skilled tradesmen as needed
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Follow health and safety guidelines on site
- Help with lifting and carrying heavy items

Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Health and safety conscious
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors

Must either drive to us or be able to get to our place of work daily

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
