Sign Fitter's Mate

to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working on a wide range of signage projects across the country.

Role Overview

As a Sign Fitter's Mate at Jonsigns, you will assist with the installation of various signage types, ensuring quality and safety standards are met on all jobs. While industry certifications (CSCS, IPAF, PASMA) are desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This position requires

regular travel

overnight stays

(up to 5 days per week), for which a

nightly allowance

is provided. A

full UK Driving Licence

with a

minimum of 2 years' experience

is required.

Key Responsibilities

Support the installation of internal, external, and free-standing signage Ensure all installations meet Jonsigns' quality and safety standards Follow company procedures and method statements for all installs Regularly inspect and maintain installation vehicles and equipment Conduct inventory checks on tools and materials Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety regulations Represent Jonsigns in a professional and courteous manner on-site Assist production and management teams as needed Be available for weekend work and nationwide overnight stays

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in signage installation (preferred) Comfortable working at height with safe manual handling skills Awareness of Health & Safety practices Strong communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail Certifications (preferred but not essential): CSCS, IPAF, PASMA

Qualifications & Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence (required) At least 2 years of driving experience (for insurance purposes) Willing to work nationwide with overnight stays Adaptable and flexible approach to hours and duties
