Cultural Education Specialist, Curriculum Support & Artsmark (COOF72) 
 Contract: Fixed term until 30 September 2026 working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility) 
 Salary: 36,987 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working. 
 Location: Brighton or Cambridge. (The role will be based in any of the locations listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 
 This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic team that is developing the new and experimental national programme of support called the Cultural Education Network. This new national offer shares advice and best practice, creates peer learning opportunities, and fosters creative and cultural partnerships. The goal is to build the confidence, skills and capabilities of teachers and cultural educators in developing cultural offers for children and young people in schools across England. 
 The programme currently offers one-to-one advice sessions and will grow to offer events and webinars, networking and peer learning opportunities and resources for teachers and cultural educators. 
 As the Cultural Education Specialist, Curriculum Support & Artsmark, you will directly advise teachers and teaching artists on day-to-day delivery and cross-curricular approaches to embedding arts, culture and creativity in the classroom using the Artsmark Framework. This will include offering support on how to teach with and through the arts, signposting additional resources, and collaborating with delivery partners. This role will conduct outreach and help build awareness of both the Cultural Education Network and the , helping to increase the number of registrations and re-registrations. It will also include leadership on special projects and campaigns across both programmes.
